Ludington Area Schools Curriculum Goals for Kindergarten, First and Second Grades

The word curriculum means many things to many people. To us, it represents the sum of total organized experience

presented to and for students. It is never static, rather constantly changing as children are constantly changing.

The skills and concepts are listed in separate subject areas in these guides. They are taught in conjunction with one another so that the student can recognize the relationship among the various subjects. Many skills are practiced and improved upon in more than one grade level.

These brochures were written and compiled by the faculty of the Ludington Area School as a helpful guide for parents.
