Franklin Elementary Supply List

The teachers have agreed on a basic list of school supplies needed for next year. The supplies are listed by grade grade level. Some teachers may indicate ( via a summer letter or back-to-school night ) that additional supplies are needed.

Kindergarten
Box of 16 Crayola crayons
1 box of tissues
Fine tip, black dry erase marker
Yellow Highlighters
A backpack or tote (marked with child's name)

First Grade
At least 8 glue sticks
2 boxes of 24 crayons
2 twelve packs of #2 pencils (no characters)
1 package of washable markers
1 pair of scissors (Fiskers-student size)
2 fine tip, black dry erase markers
Backpack or tote (marked with child's name-no wheels)

Second Grade
2 twelve packs of #2 pencils
1 package of colored pencils
1 package of washable markers
4 large glue sticks
2 two-pocket folders
2 wide ruled spiral bound notebooks
1 small pencil box
1 box of tissues
Crayons ( no more than 24 per box)
Backpack or tote ( marked with child's name)

In many classrooms, most items (pencils, erasers, tissues, etc.) will be shared with the class. If a child does not have the supplies needed for an activity, the items will be provided. Please do not purchase any aditional items unless requested by the class room teacher as they may not fit in the desk
