Michigan Merit Exam
This assessment combines the ACT, Work Keys, and Michigan components to assess the areas of math, reading, writing, science and social studies and is taken in the junior year.Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
The PSAT/NMSQT is a multiple choice test that measures developed verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities important for academic performance in college.American College Testing Program
The ACT is a comprehensive timed test taken by students usually during their junior year. This test is viewed by most colleges as an important part of the student's portfolio along with GPA (grade point average) and to gain admittance to a post-secondary educational institution. This test can be retaken. The ACT also determines eligibility for the Michigan Competitive Scholarship, which provides the build of financial assistance to students in Michigan.SAT I - Reasoning Test
The SAT is a three hour, primarily multiple choice test, that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities.SAT II - Subject Tests
The SAT II subject tests are one-hour primarily multiple-choice tests in specific subjects.

Advance Placement
AP is a program of college level exams for secondary school students. Over 90% of colleges that most AP candidates have attended five credit and/or advanced placement to students whose AP examination grades are considered acceptable.(ACT) Plan Test
Tests in math, reading, and science reasoning that measure the academic skills and abilities that students have developed through the first stages of secondary education. Fall of sophomore year. Required for dual enrollment.
