Construction information for potential bidders

If your company is interested in bidding on parts of any of the Ludington Area School District's upcoming construction projects, please contact Ben Globke by email at the Christman Company. Ben has knowledge of the timing of each bid category and will be able to provide the information that subcontractors need to be informed of the District's bid process.

iPad Return Information

LHS seniors will be turning in iPads starting Wednesday, May 20 from 11 am -1 pm and 3 pm -5 pm, then Thursday, May 21, at the same time.

Seniors, if you cannot make one of these time slots, please contact Mr. Mesyar, Mr. Forsberg or Mr. Boon to make other arrangements. You will be required to turn in the school's iPad, both parts of the case, and your brick and cord in order to receive your diploma on June 6th.

Return to School Advisory Council

Dear School Family:

As you may be aware, through Executive Order 2020-88, Governor Whitmer has established the Return to School Advisory Council. This Council will act in an advisory capacity to the governor and the COVID-19 Task Force on Education and provide recommendations on the return to school in the fall.

District Announces Kindergarten Registration and Enrollment Process

Ludington Area Schools is pleased to announce the District's new online student enrollment system through PowerSchool for the 2020-2021 school year! This is a secure and streamlined process which allows the District to verify all student demographic, emergency contact, and medical information for the new school year.

LHS Earns Recognition in Fourth Consecutive Year

The U.S. News & World Report describes a great high school as one that “educates all students from different social and economic backgrounds, exposing them to challenging coursework on the path to graduation.” The highest ranked public schools in the publication’s list of Best High Schools in 2020 are those schools whose “attendees demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math and reading state assessments, passed a diverse array of college-level exams and graduated students in high proportions.”
