Dear LASD School Community,

Once again, you are invited to share words of wisdom and encouragement with any or ALL LHS seniors for them to read after graduation rehearsal. For those not familiar, it has become a tradition to collect notes or gestures of well wishes and congratulatory remarks for each senior and then to give them each a envelope prior to graduation for them to reflect on and appreciate their final moments as LHS seniors. 

Emergency responders are at the scene of a single car accident near the Ludington high school, no one was injured, and there was no danger to students from this incident.

Due to poor road conditions, LASD will be closed Thursday, Feb. 23. Decisions on after school activities will be made Thursday morning.

4:33 update, police report both subject in custody.

Today, two high school students were reported to have brandished a weapon in the parking lot of Mason County Central High School and then left the parking lot. We had constant communication with law enforcement after this event to ensure that there was no direct threat to Ludington schools.
